THE INSPIRATION BEHIND OUR 2019 MONOCHROME COLLECTION

The Monochrome collection’s strong lines and bold forms combined with subtle tones and textures ranging from soft to chic, speaks to the contemporary allure of monochromatic interiors.

The classic beauty black and white evokes has long been a favourite for designers but its ability to create both contemporary and timeless designs is perhaps the clincher for those wanting to create truly dramatic spaces.
Our 2019 Monochrome collection is inspired by classic interiors; a convergence of vivid light and dark tones, geometric form and engaging pattern.

While traditional monochrome interiors were focused solely on black and white and gray, injecting a contemporary flair can mean casting accents of metallic along with an array of textures to create a layered palette.

Layering and texture is important to all great interior design schemes, but in monochrome settings ensuring a balanced yet complex composition is even more important.

Without colour, or with only limited accents, textures and layers are about creating contrasts and levels to curate visually engaging spaces.

This year’s Monochrome collection is a representation of layer; of shape and form, of pattern and texture.

Designed within the context of classic beauty, the Monochrome collection’s strong lines and bold forms combined with subtle tones and textures ranging from soft to chic, speaks to the contemporary allure of monochromatic interiors.
